Wade, a group of artists has come together to call attention to the importance of fighting for abortion freedoms this November. Artists United for Change released its latest ad campaign today at SeeClearlyAndVote.com and is launching creative billboards in Michigan and Georgia. The creative billboard re-imagines the abortion conversation with a shocking photo to remind voters that male politicians will never be faced with the decision of whether they can carry a child to term.

Quinton Simon: Mother of Missing, Presumed Dead Toddler Complained About Parenting Struggles, Called Herself the ‘Bad Type’ on Social Media

Category:

Leilani Simon, the mother of missing Georgia toddler, Quinton Simon, and the prime suspect in his disappearance, took to TikTok in 2020 and implied parenting struggles while along to the “Bad Guy” song by Billie Eilish.

As previously reported, Simon reported 20-month-old Quinton missing on October 5; she said her current boyfriend saw the child at about 6 a.m. in the family’s Savannah home.

Later, when Simon woke up, Quinton was gone, according to what she told a 911 dispatcher. She made the 911 call shortly after 9:30 a.m., telling the dispatcher she found the door open, although Quinton isn’t able to open the door by himself.

“Thinks someone came in and took him,” the dispatcher told responding officers. Police launched an extensive search of the area, calling in help from other nearby jurisdictions as well as the FBI. As of October 17, Quinton remains missing but police said earlier this month that the child is presumed dead.

Leilani’s Complained about Parenting Woes on TikTok

Two years ago, Leilani called herself the “bad type” in TikTok videos posted online. “I’m that bad type. Make your mama sad type. Make your girlfriend mad tight. Might seduce your dad type. I’m the bad guy, duh,” Quinton sang in a video that has since gone viral.

In a separate TikTok video, Simon reportedly implied she struggled with parenting duties. Simon participated in a challenge on TikTok, which asked participants to place “one finger down” when answering “yes” to any of the questions.

Warnock Swings and Misses With Debate Question About the Atlanta Braves

A moderator asked Senator Raphael Warnock (D.Ga.), a question during Friday’s Georgia Senate debate. Softball questions about Atlanta Braves were asked by a moderator on Friday night’s Georgia Senate debate. Warnock, who was D.Ga., swung and missed the question with an answer that was merely a stock question.

Moderator Buck Lanford, Fox 5 Atlanta, asked the Braves: “Does [their logo, signature cheer] need to be rethought?” ”

Warnock began his response by saying, “Well, first of all, I’m praying right now for the Braves; there is a long way ahead.” “This was the most truth Warnock spoke in the debate, as the Braves were losing 9-1 against the Phillies in the National League Division Series.”

He said, “Listen, Braves management is meeting with our tribes, and they’re having a candid conversation about this.” “I know Braves people and have faith they will find a solution for everyone. ”

Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock is asked if the Atlanta Braves should “rethink their name, their logo, or their signature cheer.”

(Recorded: Warnock was against Georgia Bulldogs pro football star Herschel Walk. He stated clearly that the Braves do not need to make any changes.)

Warnock’s answer to the question was a total lie. It also showed his ignorance about the Braves.

Herschel Walker’s ‘prop’ badge is the internet’s new favourite meme

Category:

Republican Georgia senate candidate Herschel Walker has unwittingly discovered himself on the centre of one of many greatest meme traits on Twitter proper now after he pulled out a badge throughout his Friday night time debate with Sen. Raphael Warnock.

The previous NFL participant was accused of by his opponent of beforehand pretending to be a member of legislation enforcement. Walker responded by exhibiting what he stated was an honourary police badge however he was quickly criticised by moderator Tina Tyus-Shaw, as using props is in opposition to the principles of the controversy.

Walker protested this and claimed that the badge was not a prop and that it was “actual.”

Herschel Walker broadens attraction to Georgia Republicans with new story about, uh, livestock intercourse

Category:

x

Yeah, that is certainly the brief model. You would possibly regulate fellow Republicans Tom Cotton and The Ghost Of Rick Scott as Herschel weaves his little story of … one thing? Is Herschel speaking about what all of us suppose he’s speaking about?

x

For this reason Republicans suck VERY VERY MUCH at writing kids’s books. Anytime a “family-values” abortion-paying-for secret-child-having repeatedly-held-gun-to-wife’s-head Republican Senate candidate begins occurring about livestock intercourse, issues are going to go downhill shortly. There are only a few marketing campaign methods which have, as bullet factors, “and now you’re going to exit and inform the gang a narrative about livestock intercourse.” NO.

Ukraine war: Russians flee to border after military call-up – BBC

Watch: Sped-up footage appears to show large queues at the Russia-Georgia border
Russian men are attempting to leave the country to avoid a military call-up for the Ukraine war.
Queues have formed at border crossings since President Vladimir Putin announced a partial military mobilisation on Wednesday, which could see 300,000 people summoned to fight.
The Kremlin says reports of fighting-age men fleeing are exaggerated.
But on the border with Georgia, miles-long queues of vehicles have formed including men trying to escape the war.
Some of those heading into the neighbouring country have used bicycles to bypass lines of cars and evade a ban on crossing on foot.
One of these men, who did not want to be named, told the BBC's Nina Akhmeteli that he had waited since 09:00 local time (05:00 GMT) on Thursday and managed to cross over late that evening.
Another man reported a 12-hour wait, citing the partial mobilisation as a reason for leaving Russia to continue his studies.
Georgia is one of the few neighbouring countries that Russians can enter without needing to apply for a visa. Finland, which shares a 1,300km (800 mile) border with Russia, does require a visa for travel, and also reported an increase in traffic overnight – but said it was at a manageable level.
Other destinations reachable by air – such as Istanbul, Belgrade or Dubai – have seen ticket prices skyrocket immediately after the military call-up was announced, with some destinations sold out completely. Turkish media have reported a large spike in one-way ticket sales, while remaining flights to non-visa destinations can cost thousands of euros.

Herschel Walker is a word salad that makes Donald Trump look articulate

Category:
  • Herschel Walker is a word salad that makes Donald Trump look articulate
  • Back in 2020 when both Jon Ossof and Raphael Warnock squeezed out Democratic victories in Georgia — thereby assuring that there would be a 50-50 Senate — a lot of us figured that situation probably would not last long. Warnock’s victory was part of a “special” election to replace Republican Senator Johnny Isakson, who had resigned in December 2019 due to health concerns.

For some reason, Georgia Republicans decided to nominate Hershel Walker, the former great running back who won a Heisman Trophy in 1982 while playing for the University of Georgia. Walker, who has been a long-time Republican, supported Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020, and was rewarded with a position as a co-chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.

Walker has supported Trump’s election lies, and in return Trump has encouraged Walker to run for the U.S. Senate in Georgia.

Of course, one little problem is that Walker lived in Texas.

Walker was able to re-establish residency in Georgia — where he has historically been very popular — and effectively “froze” the field of potential Republican Senate candidates. He cleaned up in the Republican primary on the 24th of May, receiving 68.6% of the vote over a weak field of largely unknowns to face off with Warnock.

Herschel Walker is a word salad that makes Donald Trump look articulate

The only problem is that Walker is a word salad that makes Donald Trump look articulate.

For example, this was Walker’s answer on “Fox & Friends,” with respect to how to curb mass shootings in the wake of the Uvalde, Texas, massacre:

Here’s What Went Wrong During UofSC’s Viral Title IX Celebration — and Why It Matters

Here’s What Went Wrong During UofSC’s Viral Title IX Celebration — and Why It Matters

On Saturday, during a football game against the Georgia Bulldogs, the University of South Carolina attempted to celebrate women’s athletics — but it didn’t go as planned. Between the first and second quarters, the university invited all 275 of its women athletes to the field in honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, only for them to be shooed off by the UofSC head coach.

A civil-rights bill passed in 1972, Title IX protects against sex-based discrimination in federally funded education programs, activities, and sports. Among other things, Title IX assures women they have a right to play the field as much as any other athlete. When Title IX was passed, only 300,000 women and girls played sports on their college and high school teams nationwide. What’s worse? These hundreds of thousands of athletes received only 2 percent of athletic budgets in college — leaving the lion’s share of attention and funding for men. The impact Title IX has made on sports can’t be overstated: by 2016, one in five girls in the US played sports, compared to one in 27 before the law was passed, per the Women’s Sports Foundation. The law also raised the bar for women’s standards of competition, as well as funding and opportunities available.
